From Childbirth to Parenthood is a lighthearted yet instructive one-day class designed to help you prepare for the happy, hectic weeks ahead.

You, your coach and other prospective parents will enjoy comprehensive childbirth training through Lamaze and Breastfeeding instruction. Relaxation techniques with calm breathing patterns will assist with relief of anxiety and afford you comfort.

Your instructors for this class are two maternal & child health professionals who bring a fresh and exciting approach to the childbirth experience: Suellen Lichtenfels (RN LCCE) has over thirty years experience in maternal child health, as a manager, obstetrical nurse, and her favorite aspect—teaching. Suellen shares her knowledge of Lamaze theory as well as the experience in the hopes of meeting the needs of every client.

Deborah Perl (RN, IBCLC) is a maternal infant nurse and mother of 4, who has been involved with le Leche League through meetings and conferences. Personal and professional experience with maternal child health and breastfeeding enable Deborah to provide a calm technique for assuring mother’s of the necessary knowledge they will need.
