We purchased one of these for my first son to make his car rides a little better. We wanted something organic and safe. It was a hit and became his favorite toy. Two years later our second son found this old, chewed up toy and began wanting it as well. So we ended up purchasing two more, one for the new baby and one for our toddler so he didn't feel left out. It had an immediately calming effect and our boys carried them from car seat to stroller and back.
