It's long enough to wear over leggings (not tunic-length, but it covers the hips). The fabric is not as substantial as it looks in the photo, so you still need a nursing bra underneath it. My only complaint is that after about 3 washings, I'm noticing the fabric is starting to pill and look worn. I expect a $50 top to hold up better.
