I really need to stop buying Dote clothes. They do not work for my figure: 5'4" and curvy, with stocky legs. If you are tall, apple-shaped, thin framed, or have long nicely shaped legs then their stuff will probably be flattering on you. On me, this dress looks like a potato sack. It is also very low cut.
Unflattering

I was so excited about this dress, and I was equally disappointed with it once I tried it on. It is very unflattering!! Will be returning it.
Not stunning, but not bad

I'm not crazy about this dress, but it's comfortable and functional. It's alright. It is a bit bulky, and makes me look bigger than I actually am. And the V-neck and cap sleeves are just not very flattering for my large bust and flabby post-partum arms. Plus, I'm 5'3", so the length is a bit longer than I would normally wear. I will definitely wear it to church though.
Very flattering

The cut of the dress is great. It hangs nicely. The navy is a true navy (it looked a little brighter on the screen when I ordered it). I also found a size chart online that gave actual measurements for the size. The small is smaller than your average 6-8, but that was what I was looking for (I normally wear a 2-4 in dresses).
Love it!

This is the best nursing dress! I wish I would have had it in my wardrobe when I was nursing my first 3 babes! It feels like a comfy tshirt, and gives me a nice shape (even though I'm only a few weeks post-partum). I'm 5'6" and a 34 DD. I ordered the Medium and the fit was perfect. I did not think it was too short-it hits just below my knees. I did tack/pin the neckline a bit to make it more modest, but it's still very easy to nurse in.
This was my first purchase from mommygear, and it arrived so quickly, I'll be back for more!
A little short

I love this dress BUT I may return it as it is short. The ruffles start just below my rump and I can't bend over without a show! :( this is a problem with an 8, 3 and 4 month old. I am very tall 6' so I expected it to run short but not this short. Looks very easy to nurse in. It is low cut also but not bad. I am larger in the chest (36DD) but wear a 6 and I ordered a Large and it fits great minus the length.
Great dress

It was a great dress. The ruffles below kind of make my legs look fat(ter) but otherwise very comfortable.
Best Nursing Dress I've Tried

I'm a mother of 6 (youngest being three weeks old) so I've seen my fair share of nursing apparel. In 13 years, this is the best nursing dress I've found. Many stylish nursing dresses only offer a pull-down opening option which really makes public nursing impossible. The Dote 9th street dress is wonderfully discreet and easy to use.
The fabric is very soft and the empire waist flattering on a post-partum belly. The fabric is also rather thin and since I was only 2-weeks post-partum when wearing it, I did use some lovely shapewear to mask some of my lumpiness!
One consideration before buying is chest size. The chest does run small but I knew that from reading reviews on other sites. To make it slightly more modest (I wore this to church), I tacked the neckline about an inch higher using a couple very small and removable stitches (a pin could also be used).
If you are large in the bust (I am not), I might order a size larger than you are inclined to.
The dress really is darling and flattering. I received many compliments. I am completely happy with my purchase and wish I had this dress for all of my other babies. I bought the black and will be able to dress it up or down for as long as I'm nursing.
Loved this dress!

I ordered this dress for a wedding I attended recently and I loved it! It could be dressed up or dressed down, which is a nice option when your are breast feeding. I have a 2.5 month old baby and it was perfect for those necessary breast feeding times.
